My New Obsession

So lately I can not think of anything else but craft projects I want to do!!! I want to start right now! Too bad school is crazy right now. I already have a to do list and my goal is to use as little money as possible. Many sites have cute ideas that don't cost alot of money however often they are using craft supplies that they already have, since my supplies are limited at the moment I have been trying to think of ways to make it cheaper... and I have. Nothing scientific about it, just buy a little bit at a time and always buy it on sale! Never buy anthing full price! Why waste your money!!! and I discovered the dollar store. I always knew that it existed but have never given it alot of time, the other day I walked in and suddenly realised there is so much potential! I LOVE it!

I got my first little glue gun (on sale of course) for only $3 to hear that! $3 smackaroonies! Thats it! Then I got enough hot glue to last a long time from..... thats right, the dollar store. There are so many things I can see in my future. Here is something on my to do list:

HAHAHA!

THE BEIRDNEAU'S ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Halloween!

So... all day yesterday I was thinking about how I really don't understand Halloween, what is it all about anyway? All I do know is that it is alot of fun!

This year I made our costumes! I think that they turned out quite wonderfully!!! I made our robes and then the huge scary one of Scott's.

Overall we had a very fun halloween. I even went to work in my costume!

Harry and Ginny! If you haven't read the last book I shouldn't give away the ending, but if you really cared about it, you would have read it a long time ago!

Can you tell who Keri is?! Bellatrix Lestrange!

Scott was originally 'he who can not be named' aka Lord Voldemort but after having trouble making himself bald and making his nose look like a snake, he decided to go with Emperor Palpatine (don't ask me who that is, but apparently its from star wars).

:(

My camera broke on my birthday, so don't expect to see any good posts any time soon. So unfortunantly I am unable to share my wonderful birthday or our halloween costumes or anything really! But we are loving fall, we are carving pumpkins tonight, eatting carmel apples and the house across the street burned down today! I was paniced when I saw the firetrucks and smoke. I thought it could be our apartment!! But it was not. Thank goodness!!!!

tres chic boutique

I am taking this women entrepreneurs class right now and this wonderful woman came and spoke to us today. Summer Adams is the owner of tres chic boutique. They have so many cute things, and mainly she was just so inspiring!

I have been thinking for a long time about wanting to start a business, I just don't know what to do! To have a business you have to have an idea... so I hope the ideas start flowing soon! The greatest thing is that she is a stay at home mum and is running this business out of her home.
So inspiring. So cute. Love it. Check it out.

Summer Adventures (part)

So this summer has been very eventful and this post is very overdue, but better late than never! Brent and I started our little (or big) summer adventure by heading to disneyland. We were there for 3 days and we had so much fun! See if you can find us in the picture below! It was so fun! The next part of our journey was a 3 week trip to Australia to visit my family! We had the greatest time and I miss it so much! If only the world was a little smaller. Or at least America and Australia would somehow drift alot closer!
Brent and I visited Cherie in Melbourne for 2 days first, to visit her new little apartment! Very Cute!

Me and my wonderful siblings!

Brent and I catch'n some flat head! (thats a fish is you didn't know!)

Our very sad faces when we were leaving. Sitting in the Sydney airport, dealing with about one million flight dramas! I don't think we ever have had so many issues with baggage, re-directed flights and overall mess. Hence my dis-like of flying!

Lists

Some of the best blogs that I like to read all seem to be in some type of list format. I find lists very interesting because everyone can write one, and all lists tend to be good-funny-dumb-interesting or just something! I am a terrible blogger as any of you who may sometimes check my horribly kept boring blog but I like the list format. Maybe a should give it a try. But then again I don't want to ruin the beauty of it.

It seems that lists always feature in movies too. There always seems to be someone who is super interesting in writing lists. We watched the 'Interpreter' with Nicole Kidman last night, her characters brother wrote lists, some depressings ones, yet very accurate. I won't ruin it for those who haven't seen it. But there are lists. I like lists. I just always forget to write them. When I write them I always forget things that I was meant to include also.

One thing that I do use alot of lists for though is in my journal. I don't know if that it a good thing. But sometimes I run out of time to write everything so I resort to dot-points. Maybe not the best, but I get it all out. Goals are also a big list thing for me. I always seem to have pages in my journal dedicated to goals. Some I achieve, others I wish to achieve.

So..... as an ode (wrong word choice I know) to list makers.... Thank you. I find them very enjoyable.
